At or before the point of collection, we collect the following categories of personal information: identifiers; internet or other electronic network activity information; geolocation data (approximate); and commercial or attribution data. We collect this information for the business and commercial purposes described in How We Use Your Information. We disclose these categories to advertising, affiliate, attribution, and analytics partners and service providers, and our use of advertising and attribution technologies may constitute "selling" or "sharing" under applicable law. To opt out, see Your Privacy Rights or submit a "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" request by emailing us at support@thewellbeingreport.com. For full details, read the rest of this Privacy Policy.

If we make material changes, we will provide a more prominent notice where required, such as a notice on the Site or, where we have your email address, by email. Prior versions of this Privacy Policy are available on request.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Like most websites, we use Cookies and similar tracking technologies to operate and improve the Site, to understand how visitors use the Site, and to deliver and measure advertising. We also permit third parties, including advertising networks, affiliate networks, attribution providers, and analytics providers, to place Cookies on your device through the Site to tailor and measure advertising and referrals on the Site and on other websites you visit.

We may also use analytics and product-experience tools that record and analyze how visitors interact with the Site, including mouse movements, scrolling, clicks, and navigation patterns, to help us understand usage and improve the Site.

Where required by applicable law, we obtain consent for non-essential Cookies through a consent mechanism (such as a cookie banner). Most browsers also accept Cookies automatically by default, but you can usually set your browser to remove or reject Cookies through its settings. Removing or blocking Cookies may negatively affect your experience and cause some features of the Site to function improperly. Except where applicable law requires a separate consent mechanism, by continuing to use the Site you consent to our use of Cookies and similar technologies as described in this Privacy Policy.

"Do Not Track." We do not currently respond to "Do Not Track" signals from browsers, because no common industry standard for them has been adopted.

For the specific providers whose technologies operate on the Site, see Third-Party Providers below.

Advertising Attribution and Affiliate Tracking

Because the Site operates as an advertising-supported publication, we use tracking technologies to determine whether visitors interact with advertisements, click promotional links, visit advertiser websites, complete actions or purchases on third-party sites, or otherwise engage with offers. The Site contains affiliate links, and we may earn a commission or fee when you click certain links or take a qualifying action with a third party.

When you click a link on the Site, information such as a unique click identifier, campaign identifier, referral source, timestamp, and device and browser information may be transmitted to affiliate networks, advertisers, advertising and native advertising platforms, and tracking or attribution providers for purposes of referral tracking, conversion attribution, fraud prevention, and commission calculation. Where feasible, identifiers used for these purposes may be pseudonymized or hashed. We require our partners, by contract, to use information disclosed to them only for the purposes for which it is provided, although these partners also process information under their own privacy policies.

Advertising and Analytics

We work with third-party advertising networks, affiliate networks, attribution providers, and analytics providers (which may include providers such as Google and Meta) that use Cookies and similar technologies to collect information about your activity on the Site and other websites over time. This information is used to deliver advertising tailored to your interests, to measure the effectiveness of advertising and referrals, and to analyze Site usage.

Under certain U.S. state privacy laws, the use of these advertising technologies may be considered a "sale" of personal information or "sharing" or "processing" of personal information for targeted advertising. You have choices about this activity:

Please note that opting out does not stop all data collection or advertising; it limits interest-based (targeted) advertising and the sale or sharing of information for that purpose by participating partners. Opting out is specific to the browser and device you use, may not apply to all partners, and clearing your Cookies may reset your choices.

How We Disclose Your Information

We may disclose information about you in the following circumstances:

When you click through to a third-party offer or website linked from the Site, any information you provide to that third party is collected directly by it and governed by its own privacy policy, not this one.

Automated Decision-Making and Profiling

We and our advertising partners may use automated tools to profile users for the purpose of delivering, optimizing, and measuring interest-based advertising. We do not make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects concerning you based solely on automated processing. Where applicable law provides the right, you may object to or opt out of profiling in furtherance of targeted advertising using the methods described in Advertising and Analytics and Your Privacy Rights.

Sensitive Personal Information

We do not intentionally collect "sensitive personal information" as defined under the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) or similar laws, for example, precise geolocation, government identifiers, racial or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, health information, or information about sex life or sexual orientation. We collect only approximate location (derived from IP address), not precise geolocation. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for the purpose of inferring characteristics about you, and we do not use it for purposes that would trigger a right to limit its use under applicable law.

Health Information

The Site publishes content about health, wellness, and related products, but it is not a healthcare provider, health plan, or healthcare clearinghouse, and it is not subject to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). We do not intentionally collect information concerning your medical conditions, diagnoses, treatments, prescriptions, symptoms, or health status through the Site, and we ask that you not send us such information. Any information inferred from your browsing or interaction with the Site is used solely for advertising and analytics purposes as described in this Privacy Policy and is not treated by us as medical information or protected health information.

The Site contains links and advertisements directing you to websites and online platforms operated by third parties that are not controlled by us. These third parties have their own separate and independent privacy policies, and we are not responsible for the privacy practices, content, or security of those sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any website you visit before providing any personal information. Our inclusion of a link does not imply our endorsement of the linked site.
